You deserve a doctor who listens.

I’m a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) in the states of Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, medical educator, and researcher, providing evidence-based naturopathic care.

I work with the person in front of me, not a set of medical conditions. My training in naturopathic medicine helps me identify the root cause of a condition and provide you with the evidence-informed tools you need to achieve optimal health.

 My Story

I grew up in the Appalachian mountains, spending much of my time playing in the woods around my house and at a young age, I became fascinated with our family herb garden. I read books on herbs from our local library, spent hours digging in the dirt, and practicing how to use these plants. I hoped that one day, I would be able to use them to heal people.

My journey to naturopathic medicine has made this childhood dream a reality. In addition to learning about plant-based medicines, my training in naturopathic medicine taught me how to be a competent primary care provider. I developed skills in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illness using a wide variety of therapies. Today, I use botanical medicine, nutrition, prescription medication, mind-body techniques, exercise, and lifestyle medicine to help my patients achieve their health goals.

Today, I am a homesteader in rural northern Vermont, growing my own herbs, raising my own food, and maintaining a connection with the natural world that I have nourished since childhood. I believe nature and science can work together beautifully to bring us closer to optimal health.

Clinical Expertise

After graduating from National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), I completed a highly competitive, rigorous three-year post-graduate clinical residency focused on integrative primary care. The residency included rotations in men’s health, endocrinology, cardiology, and pulmonology with naturopathic doctors and medical doctors.

My training as a licensed primary care provider helps me see the interconnected nature of the body. I have worked in integrative primary care clinics in Oregon and Vermont since 2016, blending the best of natural and conventional medicine for my patients.

I am a proud affiliate of:

Teaching and Public Speaking

I continue to serve as adjunct faculty in reproductive medicine leading the men’s health curriculum at NUNM.

My experience as a professor helps me teach patients how to make sustainable changes to optimize their health.

I have been honored to share my expertise in integrative men’s health, weight-neutral wellness, and naturopathic medicine at conferences and lectures with the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Naturopathic Academy of Primary Care Physicians, Naturopathic Medical Students Association, and the University of Oregon.
